Prada S/S 2012 Ad Campaign Video.....

I'm totally in love with the Prada 50's inspired Spring/Summer 2012 Ad Campaign Video. (I'm not sure that any girl dressed in H2T Prada would be sitting around a gas station... but I'll go with it!?) Directed by Stephen Meisel the video features an excellent soundtrack, with a mash of tunes from Duck and Cover, Tobacco, Sleigh Bells and Ariel Pink.

I'm loving this dark moody editorial by Steven Meisel, for the latest issue of Vogue Italia. The shoot was styled by Marie-Amelie Sauvé with makeup by Pat McGrath. The impressive models are Yuri Pleskun, Cole Mohr, Will Lewis, Berthold Rothas, Eva Herzigova and Tanga Moreau.

Lara Stone for Louis Vuitton Spring 2010....

Thank God, the lovely Supermodel Lara Stone is taking over Madonna's spot by becoming the new face of Louis Vuitton starting Spring 2010. Here is the first image from the campaign which was photographed by Steven Meisel.

“After our successful collaboration with Madonna, we are very happy to be working once again with Steven Meisel on the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 fashion campaign,” says Artistic Director Marc Jacobs. “Because the collection loosely took its cues from the idea of the New Age traveler, we decided to create a green, outdoorsy set that would evoke a spirit of peace and love. To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty… It had to be Lara Stone.”

Three Hundred and Seventeen & Counting celebrates the work of world-renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel, for more than twenty years he has created every cover and accompanying editorial of Italian Vogue. As the title says this photo book holds three hundred and seventeen Italian fashion bible covers by Meisel, from 1988 to 2009, it comes as a limited edition and it is still available at Mallard / Janvier.

Extreme Beauty......

Extreme Beauty in Vogue is a new photography book, released today October 13, which celebrates the many different faces and boundaries of beauty through iconic images that have been featured on the pages of American Vogue during the past 75 years.The book is the result of a recent exhibition in Milan by Dolce & Gabbana celebrating the launch of their debut makeup collection. The exhibit was created and curated by American Vogue with design and art direction by Jean Nouvel. It featured the photography of the likes of Bruce Weber, Steven Klein, Steven Meisel, Herb Ritts, Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Ellen Von Unwerth, and many more.

Prada L’Eau Ambrée......

Prada is adding a new fragrance to it's brand this autumn, a new women scent L’Eau Ambrée. Promo images were photographed together with the Spring Summer 2009 advert campaign by famed photographer Steven Meisel, with an addition of a TV spot, both are set to debut in Europe and US by October.

Meisel State of Mind...

Two of my favorite photographs in fashion are the Steven's.... Meisel and Klien!!! Here are some of Steven Meisels photos from the campaign he did for Italian Vogue titled, “Make Love Not War!” He depicts sweaty, dirty soldiers in the middle of a war-zone interacting with models in a very “heated fashion.” More than 60 people including models, make up artists, stylists, and hairdressers collaborated to put this set together.
