Galliano Unleashed a Storm....

Paris Fashion Week began yesterday, and with all of the beautiful clothes on show there was only one thing anyone could talk about. French haute couture house of Christian Dior, credited with putting Paris fashion back on the map is now rocked in scandal. John Galliano, the flamboyant British fashion designer at the helm of the luxury label, and a man known for his over-the-top runway collections was fired after a drunken bar episode and a nasty collection of anti-Semitic insults.

The dismissal of Galliano marks one of the most dramatic designer flameouts in fashion history, and interrupts a spectacular career, and truly robs fashion of one of its greatest showmen. It could also set in motion a reshuffling of designers at the highest levels of international fashion, as one of the most coveted and high-profile jobs in Paris is suddenly up for grabs.

The fast-moving chain of events began Thursday night when Galliano was arrested in the Paris bar La Perle, accused of hurling anti-Semitic insults at a nearby couple in an alleged violation of French laws designed to curb anti-Semitism. Dior, where he's worked for nearly 15 years, suspended him Friday pending investigation. On Saturday, another woman came forward with a similar complaint. And on Monday, video began surfacing on the Internet apparently showing an earlier incident involving Galliano, who appears to be drunk, taunting two off-screen women, saying he "loved Hitler" and that their ancestors should be "gassed … and dead."

The controversy's repercussions reached around the world to Hollywood, where Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman — the celebrity "face" of Miss Dior Chérie perfume, issued a strongly worded statement disassociating herself from Galliano.

Born This Way Video....

First, Lady Gaga was hatched out of an egg like two weeks ago... Now, Mother Monster is the one doing the creative pro-creating. In her new video for hit single, "Born This Way," Gaga gives birth to twin concepts: GOOD and EVIL.

Directed by famous fashion photographer Nick Knight, It opens with an extended narrative introduction voiced by Gaga herself that explains the story of a cosmic birth, "As the wombs numbered and the mitosis of the future began, it was perceived that this infamous moment in life is not temporal, it is eternal. and thus began the the beginning of the new race, a race within the race of humanity, a race which bears no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom," she explains in a voiceover placed over dramatic scenes of child birth in space. "But on that same day, as the eternal mother hovered in the multiverse, another more terrifying birth took place: the birth of evil."

Then it continues, until the music starts and Gaga appears in a barely there bikini.... the vid is quite epic!

The Drifter.....

Alex Dunstan is The Drifter... and perfectly plays the part of one of Christopher Bailey’s twentieth-century forward-thinking fashionable boy warriors who marches to the beat of his own drummer as he takes on the brave world.

Dunstan looks amazing in a Burberry Prorsum S/S11. Styled by John Tan, these special images are from the new issue of Visual Tales magazine. The mostly black and white editorial story was photographed by Shannon Sinclair.

Lady Gaga at Grammy Awards 2011.....

Looks like Mother Monster is ready to be born. Known for her outrageous outfits Lady Gaga arrived at the Grammy Awards concealed in a womb designed by Hussein Chalayan.

Stylist Nicola Formichetti says she's wearing a Mugler Black leather alien outfit inside her embryonic state. The egg has an oxygen tank and a fan so Gaga was comfortable until she emerges to perform. Until then she is alone with her BlackBerry.
