Back to Savile Row....

Alexander McQueen has just opened the doors to their men’s flagship store at 9 Savile Row. McQueen’s Sarah Burton conveiced the store concept with David Collins Studio, who were also responsible for the new women’s store concept. “The flagship will provide the largest offering for the men’s ready-to-wear line and accessories with plans to develop an in-house bespoke tailoring service housed at the workshop in the basement of the store.” The original parquet flooring remains. Plaster panels, which look like classic pieces, have been designed with McQueen motifs throughout... It's great to see the full circle bringing McQueen back to where the late designer first trained as a tailor.
