Gisele Bündchen Givenchy S/S 2012.....

On what I would say was a kinda gloomy day at the beach, Gisele Bündchen delivered another beautiful campaign for Spring/Summer 2012... this time for Givenchy. Photographed once again by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the sleek and slightly darker campaign also features Mariacarla Boscono, Simone Nobili, and Chris Moore.

Over all, I think the images are lovely and loving that Riccardo Tisci found that megalodon tooth... and decided to make a necklace out of it.

Givenchy Menswear.... American Minotaurs?

Here are my favorite looks from the Givenchy Menswear Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Paris show.

(I love Tisci.... but I still haven't found the right occasion to wear a man-skirt yet!)

“It’s all about the American Dream… I had two obsessions when growing up; going to America which is where the flag came from, and Minotaurs. First I took the sharpness and the composition of the stars, I’ve been obsessed with them all my career, and secondly I used the Minotaurs, who are half bulls and half human beings, for the prints.” -Riccardo Tisci

Givenchy Fall 2010......

Well done, Riccardo Tisci! The new Givenchy collection presented a new modern take on religion at their Men’s Fall 2010 show in Paris. They had monk sandals, golden crowns of thorn worn as necklaces, and a t-shirt proclaiming Jesus is Lord. And as expected, black ruled.
