Dior Couture.....

"Dior Couture" The hardback coffee table book scheduled to be released this December has a beautiful portfolio-style layout featuring over a hundred of the most opulent Dior haute couture gowns ever made. Spanning the entire era of Christian Dior couture, the images were captured by legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier and include iconic designs from the man who started it all as well as his successors Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and John Galliano. Ingrid Sischy, the former Editor-In-Chief of Interview and Editor of Vanity Fair’s European editions, provides the accompanying text.

Very Mary-Kate.....

First off I'd like to thank my wonderful boyfriend for introducing me to "Very Mary-Kate!" A hilarious web series written by Elaine Carroll and Directed by Sam Reich. Episodes are approximately 90 seconds each, and act as the unofficial biography of Mary-Kate Olsen!

A life long fan of MKO I'm shocked I've never watched these videos before. New episodes for the 3rd season start on December 1st... so in the meantime, whenever you feel cold, hungry, tired, rich, or famous, think of MK.

Book your flights to Mary-Kanada ASAP and remember there comes a time in every Olsen's life when they need to be on their own!

Jack Manhood Client Magazine's Issue #5....

I love dark and moody black and white photography with hot models any day of the week! Jack Manhood looks smoking in his Barbarian fur and leather pants in this editorial called "We Are The Social Club" for Client Magazine's Issue #5. The fun rebellious twosome were shot by editor Ian Cole for the cover and accompanying images. Jack and Ewelina K can thank Marie-Claude Lamb for the sexy styling.

Sean O'Pry for Viktor & Rolf's SPICEBOMB....

SUPER SEXY Sean O'Pry looks great as always in another campaign... This time as the face of Viktor & Rolf's 2nd men's fragrance for latest scent "Spicebomb." With a striking hand granate shaped bottle designed by famed Fabien Baron... the only question is will perfumer Olivier Polge, who already created Flowerbomb make the spice as successful? The wonderful image of Sean was shot by Inez & Vinoodh. The 90- and 50-ml. eau de toilette Spicebomb sprays will retail for $95 and $75

Marry The Night: The Prelude Pathétique.....

Wearing next seasons Calvin Klien, Lady Gaga released the teaser trailer for her new music video “Marry The Night: The Prelude Pathétique,” Gaga's latest single from her "Born This Way" album. While being rolled into hospital surgery room, LG looks back on her life and speaks of clinical psychology, artistic invitation, custom giuseppe zanotti heals, and Gummie Bears... all while strapped to a gurney.

Gaga announced that the actual music video will be her longest one to date and is about seven and a half minutes long.

Truthfully, the lie of it all is much more honest!

Jenna Lyons townhouse for sale......

J. Crew’s President and Creative Director, Jenna Lyons is getting divorced and selling her home. All you need to do now is have an extra 3.75 million and it could be yours! Impeccably decorated with wood-burning fireplaces throughout, elaborate crown molding, stripes on the ceiling and antlers on the walls.... this is exactly how I would like my home to look, black walls and all!

Located in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighbourhood, the townhouse has seven bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and a beautiful marble kitchen. Here's your chance to peek inside!

Just Because.....

Ian Cole, No Creative Bias.....

I really like the work of London based British fashion photographer and graphic designer, Ian Cole. Self-taught and from a working class upbringing he followed his passion for art, music and fashion. He's someone who loves to tell a story and describes himself as a creator with an strong appreciation of shape, form, and color.

Ian's approach is open-minded and experiments with primitive photography methods and plays with alternative and natural light sources. He appreciates strong work ethic and refuses to work with models who have a bad attitude or an over inflated ego!

*HIS TIP FOR LIFE: You can't sell crap by calling it ART.... Crap is still crap, even in disguise! (I guess those are good words to live by)

Versace for H&M Commercial..... My house, my rules, my pleasure!

How can you go wrong with a surrealist world of gold studs, bold prints, life-size marionette's, staircases that lead to nowhere and model's that run on giant hamster wheels?!! (If that's what life is like inside Donatella's mind, sign me up!) The Versace for H&M collection has truly captured the essence of Versace. Churning out clones the commercial stars a very blonde Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld playing puppets controlled by Donatella... which isn't to far of a stretch from reality!

Directed by Jonas Akerlund, the video also stars Donatella Versace herself... and a nice cameo from sexy River Viiperi.

What would McQueen Do?

Beautifully filmed with the sounds of crashing waves this is a great short film call "Diving for McQueen." Cathy Horyn, The New York Times fashion critic got a behind the scenes look at the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Film in Paris at the label’s atelier, Horyn is given a change to explore the McQueen world with Creative Director Sarah Burton.

So eloquently she explains "A McQueen girl-she has to feel powerful, she's never a girlie girl, she's always a woman" and the direction for the marine-inspired gowns. Burton has truly upheld the aesthetic for this groundbreaking and provocative label, pushing forward, and always focusing on the technique and craft.
